COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – (April 1, 2014) – The IPSO (Internet Protocol for Smart Objects) Alliance and Grid Connect, jointly announced the launch of a new Psychokinetic Energy (PKE) Smart Sensor.  This new product will allow consumers to remotely monitor paranormal activity in their home and work environments. It is currently under patent review.

Zach Shelby, Director of the Internet of Things at ARM and Chairman of IPSO’s new Smart Object Committee, said, “We have examined the PKE Smart Sensor and concluded that it fulfills the committee’s semantic definition of a smart object.” He added, “This collaboration between our alliance and the engineers at Grid Connect/ConnectSense reflect IPSO’s continued focus on pushing the boundaries of what is possible in this world and the next.”

Matthew Gillmore, Chairman of IPSO’s Technical Advisory Board and Strategic Standards Architect at Itron, said, “We continue to champion innovative ways of harnessing energy and creating a more resourceful world. Inventions like the PKE Smart Sensor help consumers to effectively load balance the paranormal energy that may be underutilized in their homes and offices. Our newest IPSO member, Grid Connect, has been a leader in the embedded and networking marketplace for over 20 years, so when it comes to sensors, who are you going to call?”

Adam Justice, VP of ConnectSense/Grid Connect, said, “By connecting our PKE Smart Sensor to the cloud, our customers can now monitor paranormal sightings remotely, using common devices such as the smart phone. If there’s something strange in your neighborhood, you will be alerted immediately. He added, “We are excited to partner with the IPSO Alliance and expand their mission to build a smarter after-world through the Internet of Things.”
