Reference Architecture Committee Charter and Organization
Background and Value:
The IPSO Alliance Reference Architecture Committee is tasked with defining the essential elements required to create an Internet Protocol enabled Smart Object. The expected output from this group will be a collection of essential requirements and a list of protocols required to produce a Smart Object. Reference architecture scopes will include requirements and protocols for physical, medium access control, adaptation (if required), networking, transport, security and services. The Reference Architecture Committee’s work products will be the primary criteria to be followed by judges in IPSO Challenges, and also serve as guidelines to determine compliance with IPSO principles for any other purposes that may arise.
